(August 2013) According to the Pocono Record, Alpine Mountain in Analomink, Pennsylvania, in the Poconos, will be sold by competitive sealed bid this September. Appletree Management, the management company that purchased the mountain just two years ago and has managed it for the last three seasons, has decided to return to the property management business and leave future improvements to someone else.

Alpine opened in 1984. It’s a 103-acre facility with 3 fixed-grip chairs, two wire rope tows, 21 trails, a lodge and a rental shop.
