(September 2012) Bernie Weichsel, of Wayland, Massachusetts, founder of BEWI Productions, longtime corporate member of the North American Snowsports Journalists Association (NASJA) and Chairman of the U.S.Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame will be honored onNov.17 by the New England Ski Museum as the recipient of its prestigious Spirit of Skiing Award. Bernie, a long time owner of Sports Productions organizes ski shows across the country every fall.
As Chairman of the Hall of Fame he has led two successful induction events that have provided the revenue necessary to balance the annual budget. He is also active in the International Skiing History Association. He is an enthusiastic skier and one of its greatest ambassadors.
The award will be presented at the annual meeting of the New England Ski Museum at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area in Princeton, Massachusetts. http://www.skimuseum.org.
