(December 2015) Pam Fletcher recently invited Ann and me to ride in a duck boat  parade kicking off this, year’s Boston ski show. BEWI owner and show producer Bernie Weichsel sponsored five boats dubbed Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and Canada.
Pam brought a couple of other friends with her. Riding along with us was two–time Olympian (1984 and 1988) and 1985 World Championship Downhill Bronze medalist Doug Lewis, and 1994 Olympic Downhill Gold medalist and Super G Silver medalist Tommy Moe! Together with a raucous group from Mt. Wachusett lead by marketing man Tom Myers, and a crew from Nashoba Valley, we spent lunchtime riding around downtown Boston spewing Frisbees, bottle openers, bandanas and other swag at the good people on the streets. In spite of some light rain those on the boat and on the street had big smiles. Our fun and enthusiasm was infectious in a very good way.

Thanks Pam and Bernie!
