(October 2013)  In itself, that’s not news. Killington is almost always the first to open in the Northeast. What’s remarkable is that this season they did it on October 26th, only a couple of days after Loveland and A-Basin in Colorado, with bases at 10,000 feet, announced they were open for business.

The K-1 Express Gondola and the North Ridge Triple are loading from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Lift ticket rates are $49 for adults (19-64), $38 for Youths (7-18) and $42 for Seniors (65-79).

Of course terrain is very limited and knowing Killington the way I do, rest assured they will continue to make snow and open more terrain at every opportunity.
